Yet innovations around DALL-E-style 2D images are just the tip of the iceberg. Recent rounds of fundraising from Inworld AI (AI-driven virtual characters), Modulate (AI-powered player toxicity detection) and Regression Games (AI-enabled competitive gaming) are illustrative of this trend and may signal the start of a coming wave of investor interest in new ventures exploring this space.
